The anniversary of the Society is aimed at all professional groups working in or collaborating with radio-oncology. Radiation therapy has experienced an enormous upswing in recent years. This is based not only on technical innovations that open up new treatment possibilities, but also on experimental and clinical results, which show hitherto unimagined synergies with other therapy methods.
